Full colour 3D Printing is made possible using the 3D Systems Colour jet 3D Printer, which is capable of printing in over 4million colours. With a build resolution as low as 80 microns, prints offer excellent detail and vibrant colour.
Prints are built in a sandstone which offers details and colours suited for design validation and visual model effects. There is no support removal process so this leads to making this process ideal for printing quick visual models as no manual post processing except bonding the part is required.
We regularly use this technology to print bespoke figurines and characters, medical models, using for color differentiation for many engineering industries, topography models, education models with full color representations, dioramas, scale models and props for
photo shoots/animation. Parts can be printed up to 38 cms in length and can be joined together to make bigger sized models. Prints can be used for anything from one off prototype through to low volume production of models for different applications.
